Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder. Chronic insomnia is reported to affect up to 10% of the general population. Insomnia causes much distress to sufferers and is associated with low quality of life and a higher level of physical and mental illness. In this talk Dr Runcie will discuss how to deal with anxiety and fear about not sleeping. You will learn how to change your sleep routine in order to break a vicious insomnia cycle. Runcie will review resent research and new developments in treatment of chronic insomnia.
