There are several different types of diabetes, the most common being Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Despite how common they are accurate diagnosis remains challenging, meaning the treatments patients receive, if any, are suboptimal. The capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) present significant opportunities for advancing scientific research and discovery. We will discuss the exciting new uses of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research and how we are using AI to develop tests for different sub-types of diabetes.
